This Milestone Moment

This may be it!
This moment
This milestone
Perhaps the pinnacle
Of my incarnate life.
Let me capture it.
Let me savor it.
With all that I am.

How do I feel?
A bit self-conscious?
Let this joy be my beauty!
Banish my insecurities.
And unnecessary fears
Even as the flab under my arms
And my awkward smile
Are beautiful
When my earthly body
Absorbs and radiates
This love

Let all me use all of my
Carnal senses
To treasure and
Incorporate
This moment
To remember again
And again
This moment will pass
Yet it will last
As the present becomes past
This fleshy home will
Also pass
But today I have them together
In harmony
Make this moment me.
In it I become eternal.

What do I see?
Package this view
With words
Who is here with me?
See them.
What do I hear?
Listen.
Hear the sounds of joy and
Document each one.

Feel my own breath
Filling my lungs and my
Brain with molecules
As I draw in air
And release it.
In serenity
Taste it
Smell it
Remember.

I am here immersed
In this treasure
In this pleasure
Alive.
I am in this moment

And it is in me.
